Firstly, you need to make sure you have an FTP client installed. We recommend using FileZilla, which is free and open source. To download FileZilla, please click here and select a version that is compatible with your computer. Once downloaded, you need to install the software.
Once you've opened up FileZilla, you will need to input the following information:
Host
If your name servers are pointing to us, you can use ftp.yourdomain.com
Alternatively, you can use the server IP address or hostname. This information will vary depending on which server your account is hosted on. Please check your welcome email for this information.
Username
Your username is the same as your cPanel username, which can be found in your welcome email.
Password
Your password is the same as your cPanel password, which can be found in your welcome email.
Port
This is always 21
